SALES EXECUTIVE

In line with the Corporation’s strategic initiatives towards increased value addition and foreign currency generation, Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe (MMCZ), is seeking for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill in the following position: Sales Executive x1 Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position exists to enable efficient and accurate sales and marketing strategies of mineral products to different markets globally. The incumbent will be responsible for: - • Developing and implementing budgets, marketing plans, marketing and business development strategies for product portfolio. • Developing international markets, logistics strategies and identifying mineral sources in line with annual marketing plan. • Pricing of portfolio products within specified parameters and in line with international market trends. • Negotiating, preparing and administering the implementation of export and local sales contracts. • Gathering market intelligence, compiling and analyzing information on current production and pricing trends. • Supervising the analysis and verification of mineral consignments before exports. • Supervising Sales/Shipping Clerks and supplying information needed for processing of export documents. • Preparing and reviewing of product portfolio budgets. • Preparing managerial and other international protocol reports for portfolio minerals. • Preparing and making presentations on minerals portfolio at both domestic and international forums. • Advising stakeholders of regulations governing the sale of minerals in Zimbabwe and marketing conditions of portfolio minerals. • Developing and maintaining healthy relationships with producers, agents, customers and other key stakeholders. • Ensuring that all proceeds on product portfolio minerals are fully accounted for. • Any other relevant duties as assigned by the superior. Minimum Academic Qualifications and Experience • Marketing or Mining related degree. • Diploma in Gemmology. • At least 2 years relevant experience in marketing, mineral identification and evaluation and familiarity with the mining industry. • Membership to a recognised institution is an added advantage. • Knowledge of minerals especially semi-precious and precious stones. • A Clean Class 4 Driver’s licence. MINERAL RESOURCE ACCOUNTING MANAGER

In line with the Corporation’s strategic initiatives towards increased value addition and foreign currency generation, Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe (MMCZ), is seeking for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill in the following position: MINERAL RESOURCE ACCOUNTING MANAGER - GRADE D5 Reporting to the General Manager, this position exists to ensure effective accounting of national mineral resources through sound monitoring strategies, curbing of mineral leakages, monitoring the mineral production value chain and mineral related research while enforcing compliance in line with the Corporation and Government policies. The incumbent will be responsible for:- • Developing and implementing strategies that ensure that all exported minerals are fully accounted for in quantity and quality, among other things. • Liaison with local and international laboratories to ensure timely assaying and reporting of assays for mineral consignments. • Analysing of assays reports and recommending appropriate solutions to the marketing function to maximise minerals resource accounting. • Planning and organising periodic full metallurgical mineral processing audits at various mines. • Identifying sources of mineral leakages and recommending appropriate solutions. • Spearheading mineral related Corporation-wide research. • Facilitating and conducting research in beneficiation and value addition of minerals in order to maximise mineral returns. • Recommending appropriate mineral processing technologies to maximise minerals returns. • Establishing and maintaining close liaison and cordial working relations with relevant stakeholders to ensure maximum mineral resource accounting. • Overseeing the implementation of the mineral resource accounting budget. • Effective application of performance management tools and monitoring the achievement of results. • Preparing high level reports for Management. • Any other relevant duties as assigned by the Superior. Qualifications/Attributes • Mining related degree. • MBA/MBL or any other relevant Masters’ degree is a must. • 5 years relevant experience at Senior Management level. • Membership to a relevant professional body is an added advantage. • Sound knowledge of an ERP system. • Good analytical skills. • Clean class 4 Driver’s Licence is a must. In line with the Corporation’s strategic initiatives towards increased value addition and foreign currency generation, Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe (MMCZ), is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill in the following position: ICT MANAGER: GRADE D3 Reporting to the DGM Finance & Administration, this position exists for the purpose of planning, developing and implementing the ICT strategy function including hardware, software and networking solutions. The incumbent will be responsible for:- • Crafting, implementing and managing the organisation’s ICT Strategy in line with the Corporation’s Strategy. • Managing ICT Policies and Procedures. • Preparing, monitoring and controling the ICT budget. • Managing the acquisition, installation and maintenance of the organisation’s Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, hardware, software and other ICT assets. • Ensuring that routine preventative maintenance is carried out on hardware network and software. • Ensuring systems are compliant with regulations and establishes risk mitigation measures. • Any other relevant duties as assigned by the Superior. Reporting to the Deputy General Manager – Finance & Administration and the Finance Manager, this position exists to provide Secretarial and Administration Services to the Finance department and ensuring that all divisional administrative issues are timeously attended to. The incumbent will be responsible for:- • Diary management and monitoring. • Arranging and taking minutes in meetings. • Providing administrative support and logistics support to the department. • Organising attendance of functions, workshops and conferences. • Facilitating performance management processes for the department. • Assisting in preparation of end of year audit schedules. • Compiling and consolidating departmental budgets. • Updating and maintaining the Finance databases. • Compiling and consolidating Finance and Administration monthly reports. • Ensuring a comprehensive records management system for the department. • Any other relevant duties assigned by Superiors.
