I. Kwesu
Mr Isaac Kwesu is a holder of a M. Sc. Degree in Economics from the UZ and is currently the Chief Executive officer of the Chamber of Mines of Zimbabwe (COMZ), a position he has held since 2014. He joined the COMZ Chief in 2011 as an Economist/ Policy, Economics and Investment Specialist. Prior to joining the COMZ Mr Kwesu was an Executive Director for Research and Corporate Finance Advisory at MMC Capital, between 2009 and May 2011. During his tenure at MMC he was responsible for delivering Corporate Finance range of services such as IPO listing's advisory, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring among other activities. Between 2005 and July 2009 Mr Kwesu was the Chief Strategy Officer for Premier Banking Corporation (Now Ecobank) after having joined the bank in 2005 as a Chief Economist and Head of Research & Projects. Mr Kwesu currently sits on five other boards among which are, Mining Industry Association of Southern Africa (MIASA) where he is the President, Association of Chamber of Mines and Other Mining Association s in Africa (ACMMAA) where he is the Chairman and the Zimbabwe School of Mines (ZSM) where he is the Deputy Chairman. He has in the past served as President and Chairman of the Council- Zimbabwe Institute of Management (2013-16), Chairman- Dzidzo House Private Limited (2014-16), Board Member-Zimbabwe Investment Authority ( 2009 to 2012), Board Member- Premier Banking Corporation Pension Fund (2007- 2009), Advisory Board Member- Banking Department ( NUST; 2005 - 2008) and Faculty of Commerce Board Member- University of Zimbabwe (2001-5). He is an author of note with a sizable number of texts and modules to his name.
